Castle Mountain Freestyle Ski Club
Located at: Castle Mountain Resort, Alberta, Canada
Castle Freestyle Ski Club is a volunteer run ski club and are therefore relying upon Provincial Regulators to develop Covid-19 policies best suited for our club. We are consistently working with and reviewing publications by Castle Mountain Resort, Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Provincial Government to provide information to our membership that help you make informed decisions on if and when you choose to participate in club activities. Athletes are under no obligation to join and/or participate in Castle Mountain Freestyle Ski activities, however if they choose to do so, by permission of their guardian, we ask that all rules laid out by these regulatory bodies are abided by. Including, but not limited to, the following;
Club Specific Items To Note:
All guardians will be asked to sign a release form acknowledging they know the risks of allowing their child to participate in a group activity during a pandemic.
Cohort considerations will be assessed once final registration numbers are received. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THIS YEARS CLUB REGISTRATION WILL BE CAPPED AT FORTY (40). ALL OTHER ATHLETES WILL BE PLACED ON A WAIT LIST UNTIL ALL COVID PLANNING IS COMPLETE AND WE ARE SURE WE CAN ACCOMMODATE MORE ATHLETES SAFELY AND PER REGULATIONS.
Should club activities be cancelled by the Government of Alberta or Castle Mountain Resort, club fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. (Less a $100 administration fee)
Covid-19 planning is fluid at this point and we will continue to update this page as information is released by regulatory agencies.
Please remember, our club is run by volunteer parents with no formal training in pandemic planning and preparation. We will continue to do our best however if you feel you can be of assistance we welcome you to join us in any planning and/or preparation.
